You are on the front lines of Cocoroco's international expansion plans! You execute and optimize new business strategies, you lead the sales process from lead to closing and you own the commercial success once the client is onboarded. 


The job

As Cocoroco's Business Development Representative you will be challenged to build and manage your own commercial portfolio. You actively develop multiple Sales pipelines, leveraging our Salesforce platform and working closely with other Sales & Marketing colleagues. You play a crucial role in spreading Cocorocos's story across the SME landscape in EMEA - you generate and follow up on leads and attend relevant (online) events, You make sure that you are wherever our potential clients are, and you continue to optimize your approach to reach the right audiences, with a main focus on e-commerce and gaming clients. After leading the sales process from end-to-end, you continue to manage and expand the commercial relationship with the client. You support implementation and configuration, set them up for success, and continue to manage the relationship from there, working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure optimal service delivery and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • You drive international expansion of our client portfolio, by researching, identifying and approaching potential clients across EMEA
  • You build and manage your own client portfolio, driving client success and satisfaction
  • You develop and optimize our commercial strategies for exponential revenue growth
  • Invest in great partnerships, build trust, and establish active dialogue with top decision makers
  • Take ownership, make decisions with courage and be there to inspire others.

Job requirements

  • Experience in sales or account management, including previous experience at a marketplace platform, staffing platform, or equivalent. Previous experience in a start-up environment is strongly preferred.
  • You are a strong communicator, an active listener and you're naturally proactive
  • You are innovative and able to back up your actions with data
  • Critical thinker with a healthy dose of skepticism
  • You speak fluent English and Dutch. German language skills are a bonus!
